This digital archive saves articles and reports from independent Russian news outlets from the past 20 years. It helps researchers, journalists, historians, and students study Russian history and media. The archive has over 3.5 million documents from 58 news outlets. You can search by date, type of story, and which news source published it. This protects important journalism that might otherwise be lost as Russian media outlets are shut down.
Online Abuse & Digital Safety Support
PEN America helps writers, journalists, and their allies stay safe from online harassment and threats. They provide training to learn how to protect yourself online, safety resources and guides, help for organizations to create better safety policies, and research on digital safety issues. The service is for anyone who faces online abuse because of their writing or identity, especially women, people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, and minorities.
