Bridge Houston: Workshop on Helping All Students Succeed

Bridge Houston is hosting a leadership workshop called 'Starting Where We Want to Go - Investing in Student Potential' for educators and community leaders. The session focuses on the idea that every student can succeed when given the right support and learning environment. Participants will learn about research-backed strategies that have helped students thrive in Houston and across the country. The workshop will explore how to create learning spaces based on possibility, care, and community wellbeing rather than low expectations. Leaders will discuss how our beliefs about students shape the systems we create for them. The event takes place at 1801 Main Street in downtown Houston. Free parking is available in the attached garage after 6:00 PM, with the entrance on Fannin Street. The workshop is offered in both English and Spanish. Attendees should arrive 5-10 minutes early for parking and check-in. This session is part of Bridge Houston's ongoing work to bring community leaders together to improve educational outcomes for all students in the Houston area.
